Dear Comrades,
Let us give you our most cordially thanks for your invitation to the SACP 13th Congress. We value highly the invitation as it being an expression of our mutual cooperation and interest in a course of events in our fraternal communist parties. Communist Party of Bohemia and Moravia (KSCM) uses this way to give its the most cordially greetings to your 13th Congress.
Above all, accept, please, an apology of our delegate, Cme. Jiri Mastalka, Ex. board of KSCM`s CC member and MEP, the trip to South Africa don`t be allowed him by doctors on health grounds. Let us give you this greetings message at least, to be written with great respect and recognition towards your party, to its glorious history as well as to your work, to be bravely developed in a hostile environment of colonialism and apartheid, to be further developed by you under current imperialism. We will be grateful of course for sending us your Congress materials to be agreed, as they would mean for us better understanding of the difficult situation in your country as well as a source of inspiration for our comrades.
Just like in the times of colonial era, the African continent as a whole is an aim of interests of world`s powers, they, in the spirit of old times, don`t hesitate to use all means to grab the largest possible part of Africa`s wealth, just under the ancient slogan of "divide-and-conquer". It`s no use to mention individual countries to be hit by this neo-colonial politics; an information barrier from co-called democratic mass-media darkens the truth about Africa quite successfully. Fortunately, however, there are the parties just like the your one, as well as information channels outside of the mainstream, and, above all, a global solidarity and mutual support of ordinary people, which will win in the end of the day, bringing real freedom and independence to the people of your country, of Africa as a whole as well as of all the world as all of us firmly believe. In Africa, to be constantly tossed by conflicts, to be drowning in misery, diseases and starvation, the real reason of which being those who hypocritically call for "Africa`s democratization", there are the parties like the SACP obviously the people`s only hope to ensure worthy living conditions and sustainable, reasonable development of free, equal people and nations.
We appreciate immensely the fact that your party responses vividly on current adverse situation, trying as well as possible to contribute to the solution to be good for all people, giving the peace, the sovereignty and the dignity back to the nations without any foreign interference, helping to reduce the poverty and to improve living conditions of these who need it most.
We believe your Congress would be a contribution in seeking the path to such a goal. Just for it, I wish you every success, plenty of strength and full determination for further struggles, on behalf of mine, of the KSCM`s CC as well as of every Czech communist.
