The South African Communist Party (SACP) in the Eastern Cape congratulates and wishes well our Provincial Chairperson, Cde Mzoleli Mrara on his appointment as ANC Chief Whip in the Eastern Cape Provincial Legislature.
We believe that Cde Mzoleli Mrara brings in undisputed experience and capability to ensure that the ANC caucus in the legislature functions effectively to ensure the overall performance of the Eastern Cape Legislature in line with the ANC agenda of building the people`s assembly. Cde Mrara has been appointed in his own right as an ANC leader and we believe he will continue to serve the African National Congress (ANC) and the people of the Eastern Cape.
As the SACP we wish to thank the outgoing ANC Chief Whip, Cde Humphrey Maxhegwana who is the long serving leader of the ANC and member of our party.
We would like to wish Cde Mrara all the best in his new responsibility and commit ourselves as the SACP to provide him with the necessary support.
