SACP hosts 2nd APDC and ALNEF meeting

The SACP in collaboration with the  International Left Forum (VIF) of the Swedish Left Party  and the Sudanese Communist Party (SCP) will host the 2nd African Participatory Democracy Conference (APDC) and the 1st Africa Left Network Forum (ALNEF) meeting at the Vincent Mabuyakhuklu Conference Centre in Newtown, from the 19th to 20 August 2010.

The APDC conference will be attended by almost 120 delegates drawn from both national and international left progressive forces of the continent and fraternal parties from Latin America and Europe. Whereas the ALNEF meeting will bring together, about 30 left parties from the continent, including former liberation movements, and representatives of the Sao Paulo Forum (Foro de Sao Paulo) and the European Left (EL).
