The SACP notes and welcomes the two green papers released today by the responsible Ministers in the Presidency.
As the SACP we have been in the forefront of calling for a strategic and coherent planning and a monitoring and evaluation mechanism at national government level. The release provides the public an opportunity to interrogate governments plan and make a contribution to the debate.
The SACP will study the proposals and make recommendations to both government and our alliance partners. The documents could not have come out at a better time as we are preparing for our Special National Congress. As part of preparations for the Special National Congress our structures will discuss the documents with an intention to conclude an SACP input at the congress.
