Press Conference to Release SACP Central Commitee Statement

The statement of the Central Committee (CC) of the South African Communist Party (SACP) will be released in a Press Conference to be held tomorrow morning as detailed below:

VENUE - SACP Head Office, 3rd Floor, COSATU House, 1 Leyds Street, corner Biccard, Braamfontein, Johannesburg

The Press Conference will be addressed by SACP General Secretary, Blade Nzimande and SACP Deputy General Secretary, Jeremy Cronin.

The statement will cover the following:

• SACP position on the Growth and Development Summit & HIV/AIDS and the NEDLAC negotiations on the National HIV/AIDS Treatment Plan
• The complicity of private capital in the sustenance of apartheid and SACP proposals on the current reparations debate
• SACP ositions and programmes on Zimbabwe and Swaziland
