The South African Communist Party (SACP) calls on all South Africans to observe a moment of silence in honour and remembrance of its late General Secretary and popular ANC leader, Martin Thembisile “Chris” Hani, at 10h30 on Thursday, 10 April 2003.
Chris Hani was murdered after 10h00 on 10 April 1993.
The SACP extends this call to all peoples, democratic and progressive organisations and institutions throughout the world.
At the time to observe the moment of silence, the SACP will be holding a Chris Hani Memorial Service at Hani’s grave as detailed below where the moment of silence will also be observed.

VENUE : Hani’s grave, South Park Cemetery, Heidelberg Road, Elspark,
Boksburg
