Blade Nzimande to Address SADNU Congress

Tomorrow, the General Secretary of the South African Communist Party (SACP), Blade Nzimande, will address the 6th National Congress of the South African Democratic Nurses Union as detailed below.

The South African Democratic Nurses’ Union is one of the fairly new affiliates to COSATU.

Nzimande’s speech will focus on the following:

• The role of health workers in building a quality public health service
• The role of health workers in the HIV/AIDS pandemic
• Solidarity of South African health workers with Palestinian health workers
• Building trade unions and defeating the anti-working class offensive
• Building the alliance
