First Meeting of the SACP 11th Congress Central Committee

The first meeting of the 11th Congress Central Committee (CC) of the South African Communist Party (SACP) will be held in Johannesburg from 23 to 25 August 2002.

In its agenda, the CC meeting will discuss the following:

• Political Evaluation of the 11th Congress
• Assessment of, and the Way Forward on the Financial Sector Campaign
• SACP preparation for the 51st National Conference of the ANC and the ANC Policy Conference
• The Young Communist League
• The 2002 Red October Programme
• The World Summit on Sustainable Development
• The Jeremy Cronin Interviews
