SACP Community Outreach on Local Community Issues Blade Nzimande Visits Kwadambuza

The General Secretary of the South African Communist Party (SACP), Blade Nzimande, will conduct a public visit his home township of KwaDambuza on Sunday, 06 May 2001.

Part of this visit will be a public meeting to be held as detailed below:

DATE : Sunday, 06 May 2001 TIME : 13h00 - 15h00 VENUE : AME Church, Ward 21 KwaDambuza Township, Pietermaritzburg

Through this meeting, the community of KwaDambuza will raise and address the following matters with Comrade Nzimande:

• Problems affecting pensioners
• Crime in KwaDambuza focusing on women and children
• Provision of local government services in KwaDambuza
• Access to land and local development in KwaDambuza
• The SACP-led campaign on banks

This visit is part of the SACP's Community Outreach Programme to link up with local communities and address problems they face.
