South African Communist Party (SACP) General Secretary Blade Nzimande says the alliance with the African National Congress (ANC) and The Congress of South African Trade Union (Cosatu) must look into itself to be better leader for the society.
This comes after Nzimande addressed the party's Red October Campaign in Sebokeng in the Vaal Triangle on Sunday urging all South Africans to stop the rot in the country.
Speaking on AM Live Nzimande says everyone must play a role and stop plundering off the country.
"We must stop toxic relationships like this Gupta family has developed with sections of the state and our movement in order to be able to move forward. We need to build the type of country were South Africans expect to live in."
Nzimande says they are concerned about what is clearly merging as abuse of state resources.
