Minister of Higher Education Blade Nzimande will on Thursday meet with the injured University of Witwatersrand (WITS) students.
This comes after a fatal taxi accident on the N1 near Mokopane in Limpopo on Sunday, claiming seven lives and leaving some students injured.
The six other injured students are undergoing treatment at the Charlotte Maxeke Johannesburg Academic Hospital.
Several Wits delegations including members of the Wits Student Representative Council (SRC) and Vice Chancellor Adam Habib travelled to Limpopo on Monday, where they met with families and friends of the students who passed away.
The students hail from several faculties and are in different years of study and from different provinces. Many students are said to belong to the Wits ZCC student society.
On Tuesday, Wits honoured the seven deceased students by flying university flags at half-mast in their memory.
